It all started today...

Mon Nov 30, 2009, 4:48 AM
'Twas on this day, 12 moons ago, that I was driven by an inspiration of mine, sat down, logged onto this website and began writing the prologue to my Haloid crossover series.

It all began with the raiding of a Covenant ship...
Now a glorious battle took place where the first Halo ring once orbited.

Thank you everyone for reading my story. Before this I didn't have much self-confidence but I am glad now that I actually seem to be doing good at something.

These are a few of the people who read my story and again, I want to thank not just them, but everyone.

Anyway... in celebration, I have decided to post a few links to music clips from youtube:

[link] This is the epic intro theme to the Metroid Prime Trilogy.

[link] This is the theme for Halo 3: ODST. I've seen the gameplay trailer, and at 0.36, I just want to yell out: "WE ARE DROPPING INTO HELL TROOPERS!!" and ride the pod down to the battlefield. :XD:

[link] This is the music played during Halo 3: ODST's NM Police Department level. At 4:38 is when the real music starts. :D :D

Anyway, to kick off this anniversary, I have already posted the prologue to Part III.

I have recently learned that the new novel, Halo: Evolutions, has been released six days ago and I plan on reading it.

Happy Holidays! ^_^

Onwards...

Well I've hit 7500.

My mood would be better if I wasn't worrying about something I put into my latest chapter. That conversation between John and Samus was a spur of the moment thing and I just felt that I should put it in, but now I'm thinking it was a big mistake.

So I don't know what to do. Should I leave it in there or cut it out?...

A Spark of Rivalry.

Well I got ODST yesterday and I really like it, but there's something that's bothering me about it.

I think the characters in this game makes the Master Chief look bad.

I have my reasons for believing this, do any of you share the same opinion? If you do, please say why.

EDIT:

Anyway, these are my reasons:

- ODSTs can pick up turrets and it looks to me like they move faster than if the Chief was holding one.

- They can flip the heavy Warthogs if they're overturned.

- They can take plasma and weapons fire without energy shields and MJOLNIR armor. When the Chief's shield goes out, he needs to find cover cause his suit can only take a few hits or less.

- The Chief used to take damage when falling from certain heights in Halo 1 till he got the MK VI.

All in all, does this mean that the ODSTs are just as good as the Chief was in Halo 1? Cause if that's the case, then either the Chief is physically the same as a regular human being, or the Spartan is seriously holding back.
